The meeting also stressed the need to seize the opportunities for state-owned enterprise reform and development, regularly analyze the economic situation, adjust business strategies timely, intensify project planning efforts, promote open operations, and strengthen and expand the corporate group.

In the current context, key tasks included determining the annual goals of the subsidiary (or associated) enterprises, conducting inspections, audits, and rectification, auditing the 2016 annual report, internal and external reforms and restructuring, as well as ensuring safety in production and maintaining stability in public petitions. The smooth completion of the annual economic goals was emphasized.
